Visual identity for the ephemeral summer rooftop bar at Bell Works.
Bar Bella is a rooftop bar located atop the iconic BellWorks building, providing a distinctive venue for events, dining, and drinks. The goal was to develop a vibrant and whimsical identity that harmonized with the overall branding of BellWorks, adding a sense of fun and playfulness to the space.
Conceptualized and designed by NPZ studio, Bar Bella is inspired by the captivating beauty of the Italian Riviera. The space embodies the essence of this coastal paradise, boasting a vibrant color palette that radiates the warmth and energy of the Mediterranean. Every corner is thoughtfully adorned with lush plants, crafting a serene yet dynamic atmosphere that transports guests to a sun-drenched coastal haven. From the rich, bold hues to the flourishing greenery, Bar Bella’s identity reflectsd the spirit of the Italian coastline by blending natural elements with bold, contemporary design.
The Bar Bella visual identity is inspired by the retro-modern Italian chic style of the 1950s. Its typography combines two distinct fonts, allowing for playful and versatile text treatments. The color palette draws from vintage 1950s liquor brand posters, enhanced by a few fresh, contemporary shades. Custom-designed icons, created specifically for Bar Bella, add a distinctive and recognizable touch to the brand’s identity.
